The estimate of the reduction in carbon emissions...does it factor in the total environmental impact of producing and distributing the electricity? e.g. coal generated electricity, transmission losses, resources consumed in producing the electric vehicle, resources consumed in adding generating capacity?

Sounds very interesting. What kind of vehicle can do this? The practical range running pure electric is probably 60 miles tops. Less with 4 people and luggage. A very ambitious undertaking. Best wishes.
